Classic Fit is genuinely generous. Full through the chest, long in the body, wide in the sleeve. If you take a Large in most brands and you buy a Classic Fit Large, it will feel roomy.
Custom Slim Fit is the one most people actually want. Tapered through the waist, closer in the sleeve, and it sits properly on a normal frame without being tight.
Slim Fit is genuinely slim and suits a lean build.
The practical rule: on Classic Fit, most people go one size down from their usual. On Custom Slim, stay at your usual size.

How to Spot a Fake Pony
Look at the embroidery first. On a genuine piece the pony is stitched densely with clean edges, and the rider's mallet, legs, and the horse's head are individually readable. Counterfeits blur those details into a lump, because reducing stitch count is how they save money.
Check the placement. The pony sits at a consistent height and distance from the placket. Fakes drift, sitting too high, too low, or too close to the buttons.
Check the labels. Genuine pieces carry a woven neck label plus a separate care and composition label with an RN number printed clearly. Printed on labels and missing RN numbers are bad signs.
